At What Age do Kids Understand Numbers?
My grand daughter Evy is three. So we went to see her in Gym Class.
They hand out "shaker" noise makers at the beginning of each class. Evy said she would get Shakers for all of us. She came back with exactly 5. There were 5 of us including her.
Coincidence? I wonder.
Or perhaps this is simply an example of Georg Cantor's "1-to-1 correspondence".
