Life in the Universe - The Probability

Suppose you were given 10,000 billion billion chances to win the lottery.

Do you think you would win?

Astronomers estimate there are 100 billion Galaxies in the Universe and the average Galaxy contains about 100 billion stars. So that's a total of 10,000 billion billion stars.

Or 10,000 billion billion chances for life.

Of course, if there's truly intelligent life out there the last thing it will do is contact us. LOL!

So we'll continue with our usual self centered mantra, "it seems we're the only intelligent life in the universe."
