Mixing Einstein and Maxwell

Take Einstein’s E=m*c^2 and Maxwell’s c^2=1/(pe*pm) where pe is the electrical permittivity of the vacuum and pm is the magnetic permeability of the vacuum.

Now substitute Maxwell into Einstein and you get this fascinating equation m=E*pe*pm

The mass of an object depends on its energy plus the electrical and magnetic properties of the vacuum.

Does this work for a neutral object like the neutrino?

Of course, at the quantum level the vacuum is far from empty, and far from understood, but it can produce all sorts of effects. And this is one.
