Cage Free Eggs - The Reality
If you buy cage free eggs you may want to look at this pic of a cage free egg production facility.
Hens are indoors their entire life, fed food pellets and have an average of about 1 sq. foot of space to roam
"cage free" - if they are lucky.
If you really want tasty eggs try "organic pasture raised".
Or you could do what my sister did. She bought a few birds and build a hen house in her back garden. They roamed the garden and found their own food. The eggs tasted divine.
