Ken's Breakfast in a Mug



Here's a fresh healthy breakfast made from scratch in about a minute. It will take you longer to make your toast!

Rub the inside of a mug with butter.

Break an egg into the mug, add a small splash of milk and beat well. Add a grind of salt and pepper. Just a tad.

Add whatever fixings you like. I like a slice of tomato and a bit of my favorite cheese. Sometimes I add a snippet of smoked salmon or prosciutto. I've even added fresh greens such as spinach or arugula.

Add whatever you like.. or nothing.

Microwave for 60 seconds then turn out over toast and eat.

Tech Notes:
Like your eggs runny? Just microwave for less time.
Need to make breakfast for the whole crew? Just line up the mugs, then microwave and serve one after the other.
In a rush? Forget the toast. Just grab the mug and a spoon and eat on the go.
Oh.. I almost forgot. No cooking pots to clean.
