Roger Bannister and the 4 minute mile

Roger Bannister was the first to run a mile in under 4 minutes. And that was back in 1954. His time was 3:59:4

But it was no accident. Bannister researched running techniques like crazy and trained using his special techniques.

You could do the same. It's training. It’s track. It’s shoes. It’s posture. It’s mental stamina. And don’t run alone. Use pacemaker runners to keep you at speed.

And don’t ignore aerodynamics, what you wear matters. Speaking of aerodynamics, Roger had long hair, but you might want to consider shaving your head or sticking all your hair under a swim cap.
