Fried Onions - With a Twist
Grab your favorite onion, peel it and slice into chunks.
Dry well with a paper towel.
Now sprikle it with fresh pepper, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and then add a few cloves.
Saute over medium to high heat in a great olive oil.
Toss frequently with a spatula. Wait until some pieces are seared and then stop.
Serve with whatever. This side dish goes with almost anything.
